         "I'm happy, and healthy.
           I love my small boobs!"

Perfezione: What do you think about small boobs?

Janine:
I think small boobs are amazing. They're comfortable, easy and unique in every way.

They're perky, cute, they fit just right for me!

I've had small boobs all my life, so they're growing on me, and they're still growing on me, in terms of loving and accepting them as part of who I am.

Growing up, I really thought at first they were annoying and I definitely didn't feel feminine with them.

Now, a lot older, with other responsibilities and things to worry about, the main thing that I can count on is loving myself, and making sure I'm happy, and healthy. I love my small boobs! I think they're great! I really really do! :)
Perfezione: Have you ever considered breast enlargement surgery?

Janine:
At this point in my life, I don't think I'll ever get breast enlargement surgery, I do understand a lot of young girls with small, or even average size boobs would consider this kind of surgery once or twice in their lifetime, and I've been there too.

It's really hard not to feel less than, when a lot of eyes are in those with larger breasts, so, there's nothing wrong with it. There's nothing wrong with loving what you have, and appreciating those that have bigger ones.

As I'm getting older, I got to a point where every part of my body is important.  What makes you, YOU, and you just want to take care of your body because it's been taking care of you ever since, right?

Perfezione: How do you deal with a person body shaming you?

Janine:
I've had some time to think about this and I really don't have a fool proof answer.

I feel I've been fortunate enough to not have that insecurity pointed out to me so negatively. You can joke about it with friends, and it's easy to throw it back with like another joke, but I haven't had anyone really making fun of my small boobs, or had to point it out.

Everyone have their insecurities, right? And it takes a long time to build resilience, to build acceptance of those insecurities.

At some point, you just have to let it go, at some point, you just accept that's part of who you are, and it won't be a negative thing that people come at you with.

I  think taking it with a healthy and happy stride, as a happy and healthy comment, like you know, if they point it out:

"Hey, you've got small boobs..." and I'm like "yeah, they're great, they're really comfy, and they're easy, they're perky"

"yeah, they work for me, what do you have? does it work for you?" I don't know haha.

When they make fun of your small boobs take it on board, not internalize it, just take it and tell them you're happy.

Perfezione: What are your fashion choices to fit & flatter small boobs? Janine: So, my favorite styling tip, to flatter small boobs is singlets, crop-tops, and anything with a pattern and ruffles just around like the boob area or even just like the torso.
And for sure, my favorite, it's sports bra, pair it with some leggings, or some jeans, and you're good for the whole day, you are comfy, you're cozy, and you're ready to take on THE DAY, and for me... That's it!

In terms of the kinds of top that I usually get, I definitely go for the ones that have a lot of pattern around this area, so, don't be afraid to go ruffles.

Having this kind of boobs, and this kind of torso, for me, I feel like I can fit a lot of styles and feel confident in them, and comfortable.

Don't be afraid to just stick on a couple of nipplecovers, and just put on that singlet, and you're good to go.

You don't have to wear the whole push-up bra again, you don't have to wear wired bras, let them out, they're cozy as is.

Perfezione: What helps you feel confident in your own skin?

Janine:
Is the people around me showing their confidence. I think I learned to love myself during these past few years because of the people that I'm around with. The love they show me, sometimes it gets really hard to be stuck in your own head, and be in that negative space.

But if you're surrounded with the right people, who are also working hard, and growing with you, and loving you, and caring for you, you'll get out of that, in no time.

My mom has definitely been my biggest confidence. Growing up now, and in another country and also starting my own family, my partner has definitely been my biggest confidence, to support me, and making me love my own skin.
Talking out loud about it, and getting positive response, is really nice as well. I'm not so afraid to show off my body. The negative comments, I don't take them as negativity, I take them more as a feedback, and for them to just have a voice, I don't think they mean it in such a dark dark way, I really think that they just want to say their points of view, and that's fine.

And I'm super happy that Perfezione's Ambassador Program has come at the right time where I can share these thoughts and feelings more confidently, and more meaningfully.

Ask me 5 years ago and I don't think I would've gotten the words out, I don't think I wouldn't have the exact confidence that I have now, to be putting out this kind of video, to be sharing these experiences and these thoughts.

But yeah, thank you guys, so so much I really appreciate this brand and the team behind. #seeknoapproval
