INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT

Valentina (Perfezione Team): Hi everyone! My name is Valentina and today  I'm so happy to share with you the first Boy’s talk with my boyfriend.

He is the one that actually taught me to embrace my small boobs, to love them, helped me realize that they are really beautiful and sexy.

So I'm pretty sure that without him my  IG account where I praise small boobs (@the_confident_body) wouldn't exist. And I wouldn't be that confident today without him.

Dhonatan: Hi! My name is Dhonathan. I am from Brazil, I am 25 years old. And I'm glad to be here and share my thoughts about boobs (haha).

Perfezione: What do you think about small boobs?

Dhonatan:
I think they are awesome. They are beautiful, aren't they?  (pointing at Valentina) 

Of course, it’s not the main thing that you look at in a girl when you are chatting or when you are flirting. It’s not the main thing that you are going to check out.

But yes, small boobs to me are beautiful. and to be honest, is the same as every kind of size and in anything.

Perfezione: What do men say about women's bodies to their friends?

Dhonatan: Normally, in my friend's circle, we don't talk that much about bodies or girls in general.

But of course, when I was single and I saw a good looking  woman, we would say: “Wow, she is beautiful” ,“She’s pretty” Of course we comment  but never judge.

It would have been never an issue if she had small boobs or we would not have stopped going after her based on the size of her boobs, ass or anything...

So it’s not that important . At least for us or my friends. We talk as much as  girls talk about the boys probably. 

Perfezione: Do guys expect girls to have big boobs and get disappointed if they don't?

Dhonatan:
No. I think it's more about the industry, the movies, the cinema, and everything. They put this image of a girl, like a model with big boobs or certain body shape. But it doesn't come up naturally from us, so I would say is more the advertisings.

To me, if I am with someone or I meet someone who has small boobs, it’s not relevant. If I date someone, it is because of the person. The body shape and the size of her boobs don't matter.

Perfezione: Do you think guys are pressured to act as if they only like big boobs ?

Dhonatan:
Yes, as I said before, I think it is all about the media. They just want their friends or people to see him with a girl with this "claimed" body shape. But this shape of the body or this size of boobs is made up by that the industry.

 So I think guys feel pressured, and that's why they want to feel approved and fit in.  

They want to show off that you are with someone having the shape that the media celebrates.

Perfezione: If you were a girl, how would you deal with someone making fun of your chest size?

Dhonatan:
Me,  personally I am very chill with everything.  So I don't care that much what people say.

I would tell her that every piece of her body is proportional to her whole body. It’s like the size of here to here (pointing left arm to right arm), to here to here (pointing legs), everything, the face, is proportional. So there is no problem with the size of any part of your body.

There are thousands of other women like you.
